The mission of the Hudson-Webber Foundation is to improve quality of life in Detroit. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit grant making organization, the Foundation concentrates its investments in four mission areas: Physical Revitalization, Economic Development, Safe Community, and The Arts.
The Foundation’s giving priorities are informed by an awareness that place, talent, and Detroit’s future are intrinsically linked. The intended outcomes from within each mission area are to promote the development of quality neighborhoods that will retain, enrich, and attract talent and contribute towards a robust and resilient regional economy.
To achieve this, the Foundation works with partners across the non-profit, philanthropic, public, and private sectors to advance projects that add to Detroit’s vibrancy with quality housing, jobs, retail, public spaces, cultural assets, and improved safety.
